ICloud Music not showing on iPhone/IPad from Apple Music.

I am pulling my hair out with this problem!

I've bought Apple Music having left Spotify primarily because I was unable to easily access my library of CDs that I have spent years uploading to iTunes first on a MacBook Pro and then transferring it to my iMac.

The problem is that no matter what I switch or play with in the settings of Music on my iPhone or iPad, I am unable to see the catalogue of 300+ CDs so that I can download what i wish to listen to. Until a year ago I had iTunes Match and understood that Music had all the capability of Match.

I have also just purchased an extra 50gb of iCloud storage. I don't think the problems are linked. I'm considering deleting my entire iTunes library from one of my PCs (likely to be the iMac) as there might be some issue with duplication.

Anyway, if anyone can help, please let me know as if this can't be solved, I'll be moving back to Spotify before the trial ends.

Thanks, Alistair

Thanks jeremy_v. I've looked at all these articles on line and they didn't solve the problem.

I've now solved it by going through my entire collection and am uploading everything album by album. It's a slow process and if you do too much in one go, you drop songs. I think it will take about 40 hours of work.

As I assume you're working for Apple, I think that greater availability of Genius bar appointments would have been a better solution. I'm still sure that there must be a straightforward solution that works in a similar way to iTunes Match, which I thought was a fantastic service, but I can't seem to find it.

I still think that Apple Music is better than Spotify in terms of curating choice based on libraries and listening habits.
